1st Day Box Office Collection of Veere Di Wedding and Bhavesh Joshi Superhero

The awaited Hindi female-buddy comedy film Veere Di Wedding has finally got released and surprisingly taken an excellent start at the box office. By leaving everyone amazed, Shashanka Ghosh’s directorial opened on a superb note and witnessed fair growth in footfalls over the evening and night shows in metro cities.

Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar, Shikha Talsania, and Sumeet Vyas in lead roles, Veere Di Wedding has received mostly favorable reviews from the critics as well as the audience for its bold and unexpected content. Solid performances by all the actresses have lifted the entertainment level up.

On the opening day, Balaji Motion Pictures’ presentation took a very good start in the morning and recorded a fair growth post noon shows in multiplexes. On an overall excellent note, it did the business of 10.70 crores and become the third highest opener of the year so far in Hindi cinema. The film is expected to take a good jump over the weekend.

On the other hand, the second major Hindi release of the week, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero has received mixed reviews from the critics and also got failed to attract enough audience toward theaters on the first day due to the presence of Veere Di Wedding in the opposite.

On Friday, Harshvardhan Kapoor starrer crime action thriller opened on a low note and remained almost flat throughout. Vikramaditya Motwane’s directorial minted the amount of 0.30 crores on the first day, which is way lower than Harshvardhan’s debut film Mirzya (2.20 crores).
