1st Day Collection of A Gentleman, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, Qaidi Band and Sniff

All the new offerings of this week have opened on a lower note than expected due to the chaos raised in Punjabi and Haryana. Also the beginning of Ganesh Chaturthi festival has resulted in lower footfalls in theaters across other parts of the country.

1st Day Collection of A Gentleman, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, Qaidi Band and Sniff

This Friday released new Hindi offerings A Gentleman and Babumoshai Bandookbaaz have reported below average occupancy on the opening day, while rest Qaidi Band, Sniff and Muskurahatein remained dull.

Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer romantic action A Gentleman is getting mixed reviews from critics as well as viewers and recorded only 15-25% of occupancy nationwide. On the opening day, it raked the business of 4.04 crores which is an average.

While Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is also getting mixed reviews and started the journey with 10-20% of occupancy. Being ‘A’ certified it got limited audience and minted the amount of 2.05 crore on Friday. Still Saturday and Sunday are expected to result in higher business for both the movies.

On the other hand, Director Amol Gupte’s action adventure Sniff attracts kids and getting positive reviews from them. On the opening day, it witnessed low occupancy and collected 0.10 crore but expected to grow over the weekend.

Yash Raj Films’ musical drama Qaidi Band with new comers has been released with almost no buzz and received very low occupancy. It started the journey on mixed note and added the business of only 0.10 crore to it’s account.

The last one, Dr. JS Randhawa’s romantic drama Mushkurahatein has been released with almost zero buzz and promotion. So most of the audience is unaware about it’s release. On Friday it remained on ground and collected below 0.05 crore.
