1st Day Collection of Jai Lava Kusa, Jr NTR Starrer Takes Massive Opening Worldwide

Superstar Jr. NTR starrer latest Telugu offering Jai Lava Kusa has been released with solid buzz on Thursday and as expected taken thunderous start at box office globally. KS Ravindra’s directorial this movie is a action drama, getting positive reviews from critics as well as audience.

Alongside Jr. NTR it stars Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas in lead roles, also marks the debut of Hindi movie actor Ronit Roy in Telugu cinema. Jai Lava Kusa revolves triplets brothers who are physically identical but completely opposite in behavior.

Jai Lava Kusa has been released on more than 2400 screens worldwide and emerged as the biggest release of Jr. NTR so far, this includes approx. 1000 screens in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana and 225 screens in Karnataka plus other parts of India.

On the opening day, the movie opened to a massive note and remained impressive throughout. In most of the theaters across Andhra Pradesh & Telangana Jai Lava Kusa reported almost 100% occupancy and raked the business of 21.91 crores.

In Karnataka and rest of India, it showed overall good performance and registered the business of 7.86 crores. From overseas market as well, the movie got excellent response on the opening day and raised it’s first day worldwide total to 47.25 crores gross.

Due to positive word of mouth, Jai Lava Kusa is positively expected to remained strong over the weekend at domestic as well as overseas box office. It has only this week to performance solo, from the next week superstar Mahesh Babu’s highly awaited Spyder will also be the part of race.
