1st Day Collection of Spyder, Mahesh Babu Starrer Takes Fantastic Start Worldwide

Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer highly awaited bilingual offering Spyder has been released on Wednesday at box office and as expected taken a fantastic start globally. Being his biggest movie ever, it had huge pre-release buzz among fans and registered highest opening of his career across Telugu states by dominating Brahmotsavam & Srimanthudu.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, Spyder is a spy thriller starring Rakul Preet Singh opposite to Mahesh in lead role. Alongside them, it is featuring S.J. Surya as an antagonist and R.J.Balaji, Bharath, Nadhiya in supporting roles. All the actors have performed excellently and getting praised by everyone.

From critics, the movie is getting mixed reviews but most of the audience have found it entertaining and thrilling as well. This is the reason, it remained terrific throughout the opening day across the globe and also expected to stay strong over the 5-days extended festive opening weekend.

On the opening day, Spyder recorded more than 95% of occupancy across Andhra Pradesh & Telangana and grossed the business of 23.40 crores from there. Reportedly, from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, rest of India and overseas market too, it witnessed impressive response and raked 27.60 crores gross.

With this, the first day total collection Spyder has become 51 crores at worldwide box office. The movie has a long festive weekend plus one more holiday on Monday due to Gandhi Jayanti, so it is positively expected to gross over 100 crores by this span of 6 days globally.
