1st Day Collection Prediction of Jab Harry Met Sejal (JHMS) at Domestic Box Office

After Raees, production banner Red Chillies Entertainment is ready with the new venture titled Jab Harry Met Sejal. Superstar Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer this highly awaited romantic drama is all set to hit theaters coming Friday on August 4 worldwide.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, Jab Harry Met Sejal is buzzing among fans as well as moviegoers since the time when it’s announcement was made. Also with the promos, it has gained good hype among audience. So this highly buzzed and star powered movie could bring springtime back at box office.

Currently box office is going through a weird phase, in which highly awaited movies like Shahrukh’s Raees & Salman Khan’s Tubelight got failed to achieve desired height. Half of the year has already passed and Bollywood has given only few hit movies like Jolly LLB 2, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Hindi Medium.

Although being a superstar, Shahrukh Khan has huge fan following across the globe and his movies always open up on a grand note. But one cannot deny that from last few years his career is not going the way it should. Also since 2013’s Chennai Express, he is seeking for a full-fledged hit.

Considering the facts and previous records, Jab Harry Met Sejal is expected to take the opening of around 17-18 crores from approximately 2500 screens across India. If the movie gets succeed to impress viewers, then it could go past 65-70 crores in first 3 days domestically.

Pre booking for JHMS has already been started across the country and getting decent response at ticket windows so far. Trade analysts are expecting it to receive excellent response at box office over the opening weekend, but it has to sustain in weekdays as well.
