New offerings from Bollywood releasing this Friday are comedy drama Poster Boys, crime drama Daddy and racing thriller The Rally. The first one among them, has the highest pre-release buzz and star power, so expected to take better start. But it also has last week’s Baadshaho & Shubh Mangal Saavdhan in opposite which are running well at box office.
Official remake of hit Marathi movie Poshter Boyz, Poster Boys is the directorial debut of actor turned director Shreyas Talpade. It stars Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Shreyas himself in the lead roles. With the trailer, the movie is looking entertaining and made good impact on audience as well.
Poster Boys is the story of three common men, who accidentally become the face of a vasectomy advertisement. It revolves around how this mistake affects their personal and social life and how they get rid of this problem. Being the biggest release of this week, it is expected to receive decent occupancy in theaters.
Considering all the fact and figures, Poster Boys attracts both single as well as multi screens audience and seems capable to open in range of 3-4 crores at domestic box office. If it gets succeed to entertain the viewers, than surely the weekend total would be good.
On the other hand, Arjun Rampal starrer Daddy has also made good impact on viewers but got failed to generate desired pre-release hype among audience. Except Maharashtra, Ashim Ahluwalia’s directorial doesn’t seem to take considerable start. It can open with below 1.50 crore of business domestically.
While the last one, Deepak Anand’s directorial The Rally has almost none buzz among audience due to weak promotions. It stars new comers Mirza and Arshin Mehta, so also doesn’t have any star power. With this, this offering seems to open in range of only 0.10-0.20 crore.
