The Jungle Book dominates Love Games

The much awaited and heavily promoted fantasy-adventure Hollywood movie ‘The Jungle Book’ has released in India this Friday, a week before than its US release. The movie had good pre-release hype among audience and as expected taken an excellent start at box office. It has received very positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers. Bollywood celebs have also praised the movie and its entire team for such marvelous creation. As per critics, The Jungle Book is a stupendous visual treat which revives the moments of your childhood. Not only kids but all ages have liked the movie and showed big thumbs up to it.

The positive response for The Jungle Book, has generated strong buzz about it among rest of the audience. So it is positively expected to witness more better on Saturday and Sunday. In parallel to this Hollywood one, Hindi urban thriller Love Games has also released. But due to less promotion, it is not much hyped among audience and received dull response on the opening day across the country.

On Friday, The Jungle Book has reported the overall occupancy of 50% nationwide. This is the second Hollywood movie of the year so far after Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, which has so much hype among Indian audience. As per report, it has dominated the opening records of Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and Kung Fu Panda 3. It has minted the amount of around 10.09 cr on its first day and become second highest opener of the year so far after Akshay Kumar’s Airlift.

On the other hand, Love Games has witnessed very low occupancy in theaters and minted the amount of 1.03 cr. Last week released Hindi movie Ki and Ka has received much better response than it on Friday. Love Games has only this weekend to earn as much as it can, because weekdays usually result in heavy drops and from next week Shahrukh Khan’s biggie Fan is being released.
