2 Week Performance Report of 2 States
2 States, the recent Bollywood movie that released 2 weeks before no box office on 18th April 2014 is still doing good job at the big screen. Interestingly, the collections of 2 States have now crossed the lifetime collections of Alia Bhatt’s debut film Student of the Year, which had made a total net India business of 87.31 Crores. With this, 2 States is now the third Highest Grosser of 2014. It has beaten the collection of Kangana Ranaut’s Queen which until now stood strong at the 3rd position. After an astonishing 1st week collection, Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer 2 States performed brilliantly in the 2nd weekend despite so many movies releasing this Friday. In the first 11 days, 2 States has crossed the 80 Crores collection mark and looking good to get in 100 Crores club in coming days. 2 States had finished the first week with marvelous figures and chances of it getting very good collection in the 2nd weekend were very big because it had got massive positive mouth publicity.
14 Days Total Collection of 2 States
Movie tool full advantage from the low performance of its later releases named Revolver Rani, Kaanchi and Samrat & Co. which released last Friday. As the figures recorded, total 2 Week box office collection of 2 States is 87.31 Crores including the 14th day collection of around 1 Crore. Although 2 States occupancy on 2nd its 14th day was very low but it was better than the other movies which we have mentioned above. It is fair to say that 2 States has outperformed other movies around it. The poor outing of last Friday released movies Revolver Rani and Kaanchi have also helped immensely in 2 States good collection. Although movie is looking good to get in the elite club of 100 Crores in which only Salman’s Jai Ho has entered in 2014 but the bigger thing is the positive words which Arjun and Alia received from critics as well as audience. Their chemistry was the USP of the movie and they did not disappoint at all. Let’s wait to see whether the flick manages to get into the club of 100 Crore or packs up its business before it.
