Directed by Abhishek Varman based on the 2009 novel of the same name written by Chetan Bhagat, 2 States the latest romantic movie has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Karan Johar. The film was expected to take a good opening with the decent hype generated by the trailer, songs and initial dialogue promos. The fact that it released on Good Friday which was a holiday and resultantly it added up an advantage in business perspective to the film. In its second day of release, film made overall business of around 12.13 Crores and stood at fantastic mark of collection.
