15th Day Box Office Collection: Mission Mangal and Batla House register a Solid 2nd Week

After a fantastic extended first week, superstar Akshay Kumar & Vidya Balan starrer Mission Mangal has registered a solid second week and scored a massive total at the box office. While the adjacent release John Abraham & Mrunal Thakur starrer Batla House has also remained steady in the week-2 and come close to the 100-crore mark.

Directed by Jagan Shakti, the Hindi space drama Mission Mangal had raked a superb business of 128.16 crores in the first week that included 97.56 crores in the 4-days extended weekend and 30.60 crores on weekdays. In the second weekend as well, it had maintained a strong pace and bagged 7.83 crores on Friday, 13.32 crores on Saturday & 15.30 crores on Sunday.

Then on weekdays, Fox Star Studios’ presentation had recorded a usual drop but still managed to remain steady and garnered the amount of 3.87 crores on 2nd Monday, 3.43 crores on 2nd Tuesday & 3.15 crores on 2nd Wednesday. On the next day i.e. 3rd Thursday, the film has minted 3.05 crores and raised 2 weeks total collection to 178.11 crores nett.

On the other hand, Nikkhil Advani’s directorial Batla House did the business of 65.84 crores in the opening week with 47.99 crores in the weekend and 17.85 crores on weekdays. In the second weekend, at a steady note, it had bagged the amount of 4.15 crores on Friday, 6.58 crores on Saturday & 7.21 crores on Sunday.

On weekdays, despite a usual drop in footfalls, T-Series Films, Emmay Entertainment & JA Entertainment’s production had managed to collect 2.26 crores on 2nd Monday, 2.08 crores on 2nd Tuesday & 1.96 crores on 2nd Wednesday. With a further decline, the film has collected 1.72 crores and raised 2 weeks total collection to 91.76 crores nett.
