20th Day Collection of Toilet Ek Prem Katha TEPK, Akshay-Bhumi Starrer Earns 130.85 Crore Total

After an impressive performance in first two weeks of release, Superstar Akshay Kumar’s latest offering Toilet Ek Prem Katha has now slowed down at box office due to having new offerings in opposite. But the movie still has enough hold over the audience and heading smoothly with little steps at box office.

In it’s journey so far, TEPK has registered many records for the actor. It has emerged as his 8th 100 crore grosser at domestic box office and first 200 crore grosser worldwide. Also the movie has surpassed the lifetime total of Akshay’s Airlift and become his second highest grossing movie of all time.

In the opening week, Shree Narayan Singh’s directorial showed excellent performance throughout and raked the business of 96.05 crores, that included 51.45 crores of weekend and 44.60 crores of weekdays from 3000 screens nationwide.

In the second week as well the movie remained good despite having several new offerings in opposite and did the business of 28.35 crores with 19 crores of weekend and 9.35 crores of weekdays. In two weeks, it made 124.40 crores and emerged as third highest grossing movie of 2017 so far.

In the third weekend TEPK minted the amount of 4.50 crores with considerable drop, including 1 crore of Friday, 1.50 crore of Saturday and 2 crores of Sunday. After 17 days of release, total collection of the movie was recorded as 128.90 crores.

Now Akshay-Bhumi starrer is once again running in weekdays and asusual getting occupancy in theaters than before. On 3rd Monday, it collected 0.70 crore with 30% of drop than Friday. Then on next day i.e. 3rd Tuesday, added 0.60 crore to it’s account.

On Wednesday, Toilet Ek Prem Katha reported further drop and garnered the business of 0.65 crore. With this, total collection of the movie after 20 days has become 130.85 crores. By this week, it is expected to rake around 131.30 crores.
