The latest hit Hindi movie Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and it’s adjacently released Baadshaho have completed 3 weeks journey at box office. The first one showed overall good performance so far, while the former reported decent and still away to achieve the hit tag due to it’s high budget.
Directed by RS Prasanna, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is a romantic comedy which got succeed to impress most of the critics. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar, it’s a quirky love story liked by all the viewers.
In the opening week, the movie registered the business of 24.03 crores from 1400 screens while in the second week with some drop it raked the business of 11.73 crores. In the third weekend, Aanand L Rai’s production minted 3.42 crores with 0.65 crore on Friday, 1.26 crore on Saturday and 1.51 crore on Sunday.
Then in weekdays, Ayushmann-Bhumi starrer dropped by little rate and collected 0.50 crore on Monday, 0.48 crore on Tuesday, 0.45 crore on Wednesday and 0.35 crore on Thursday. With this, total 3 weeks collection of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan has become 40.96 crores at domestic box office.
On the other hand, Milan Luthria’s directorial historical action drama Baadshaho got mixed reviews from critics despite the solid performances given by the leading actors. But fortunately audience found it entertaining and helped it to earn well at box office.
In the first week, Ajay-Emraan-Vidyut starrer did the business of 64.14 crores from 2800 screens, while in the second week it dropped abruptly and minted 12.43 crores. In the third weekend, the movie bagged the amount of 1.45 crore, that included 0.41 crore of Friday, 0.49 crore of Saturday and 0.55 crore of Sunday.
Then in weekdays, it managed to collect 0.12 crore on Monday, 0.10 crore on Tuesday, 0.08 crore on Wednesday and 0.05 crore on Thursday. After 3 weeks, total collection of Baadshaho is recorded as 78.37 crores domestically.
