22nd Day Collection of 2.0, Mints 187.25 Crores in 3 Weeks from its Hindi version

After a couple of excellent weeks, the Tamil sci-fi action thriller 2.0 has passed the third week on a decent note with its dubbed Hindi version at the box office. Despite having the highly buzzed Aquaman & successfully running Kedarnath in the parallel, it managed to divert enough audience toward itself.

Being the first film of superstar Rajinikanth & Akshay Kumar together, the sequel to 2010’s Enthiran (Robot) opened on a terrific note and did the business of 139.75 crores in the extended first week. In the second week as well, it remained good and bagged the amount of 38 crores.

In the third weekend, 2.0 faced good competition and registered the business of 6.50 crores with 1.40 crores on Friday, 2.25 crores on Saturday & 2.85 crores on Sunday. Then on weekdays, at a steady note, it minted 0.90 crore on 3rd Monday, 0.80 crore on 3rd Tuesday & 0.70 crore on 3rd Wednesday.

On the next day i.e. 4th Thursday (as 2.0 was released on Thursday), S.Shankar’s directorial managed to collect 0.60 crore and raised its 3 weeks total collection to 187.25 crores. Including all the versions- Hindi, Tamil & Telugu, the film has raked total 421.50 crores nett (585 crores gross) at the domestic box office within 22 days.

From the international market as well, Lyca Productions’ presentation has shown very good performance so far and has done the business of 142 crores gross. With this, the total worldwide gross collection of 2.0 has become 727 crores, which is incredible.
