2nd Day Box Office Collection: Bala takes a Big Jump, Bypass Road & Satellite Shankar Dull

Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, and Yami Gautam starrer Bala has expectedly started its journey at a solid note with a positive word of mouth. After registering the biggest opening of Ayushmann’s career on Friday, it has taken a big jump on Saturday.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, who had also helmed the blockbuster Stree, the new Hindi comedy has got succeed to impress many critics with its entertaining storyline backed by commendable performances. From the audience also, it is getting good response across the country.

On Friday, Bala was opened at a decent note with around 25% of occupancy in the morning. Post noon shows, it had witnessed a good growth and did the business of 10.15 crores. On Saturday, it has recorded a healthy jump and minted the amount of 15.73 crores.

After 2 days, the total collection of Maddock Films’ presentation has become 25.88 crores nett at the domestic box office from 3000 screens. As per the current trend, it is all set to register an excellent opening weekend and expected to remain steady on weekdays as well.

In parallel, Neil Nitin Mukesh starrer Bypass Road and Sooraj Pancholi’s Satellite Shankar are struggling to attract enough audience at the box office. The former one has raked only 0.05 crore on Friday & 0.05 crore on Saturday. While the latter has minted 0.10 crore on Friday & 0.12 crore on Saturday.
