2nd Day Box Office Collection: Marjaavaan remains flat on Saturday, Motichoor Chaknachoor dull

After the blockbuster Ek Villain, Sidharth Malhotra & Riteish Deshmukh are back again together in the new Hindi offering Marjaavaan co-stars Rakul Preet & Tara Sutaria. After a decent opening on Friday, the film has witnessed a usual jump in footfalls on Saturday.

Directed by Milap Zaveri, the Hindi romantic action has got failed to convince critics and gathered a neutral word of mouth. From the audience, it is getting mixed reactions but still, it had registered the decent opening business of 7.03 crores on Friday from 2922 screens.

On the next day i.e. Saturday, Marjaavaan has recorded a negligible jump in footfalls and managed to collect the amount of 7.21 crores. After 2 days, the total collection of the film has become 14.24 crores nett at the domestic box office. As per the current trend, it is expected to rake around 22 crores in the opening weekend.

On the other hand, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty starrer Motichoor Chaknachoor has got succeed to impress many critics and received positive reviews for its delightful storyline. But still, it is not getting enough footfalls in theatres across the country.

On Friday, Debamitra Biswal’s directorial was opened at a dull note and did the business of only 0.30 crore. While on Saturday, it took a slight jump and minted 0.35 crore. After 2 days, its total collection has become 0.65 crore nett at the domestic box office.
