This Friday released two Hindi movies of same genre, Qarib Qarib Singlle and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana are getting mixed reviews from critics. Although most of the viewers are reacting in their favor but still both are struggling to divert crowd towards themselves despite favorable public response.
Because of high star power and screen count, the former one is leading over the next, but that also not showing any impressive performance at box office. It seems like audience is now only waiting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly awaited Padmavati which is all set to hit screens on 1st of December.
Directed by Tanuja Chandra, Irrfan Khan and Parvathy starrer rooted romantic drama Qarib Qarib Singlle is based on a quirky story, which is quite interesting. Also both the actors have given excellent performances as always and made the movie enjoyable till the end.
On Friday, Qarib Qarib Singlle opened to a slower note than expected and registered the opening business of 1.75 crore which is lower than Irrfan Khan’s previous offerings Hindi Medium (2.81 crores) & Madaari (2.25 crores).

On the other hand, Rajkummar Rao & Kriti Kharbanda starrer Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana has a story which resembles with previous ones but still looks delightful and interesting because of excellent performances given by both the leading actors.
On the opening day, Ratnaa Sinha’s directorial recorded dull occupancy across India and did the business of 0.75 crore. While on Saturday, it showed good growth and bagged the amount of 1.30 crore.
