2nd Day Collection of A Gentleman, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, Qaidi Band & Sniff

This Friday released romantic action film A Gentleman directed by Raj & DK, is receiving mixed reviews from critics as well as audience and heading on an average note at box office. Beside mixed reactions, Ganesh Chaturthi and chaos of Punjab-Haryana are the reason of below-expected footfalls in theaters.

Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer A Gentleman is a story of an undercover agent who wants to quit his job and live a normal life. On the opening day, the film recorded only 15-25% of occupancy across the country and did the business of 4.04 crores.

On the next day i.e. Saturday, Fox Star Studios’ presentation witnessed slight growth and minted the amount of 4.36 crores. With this, total two days collection of A Gentleman has become 8.40 crores at domestic box office.

On the other hand, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Bidita Bag starrer crime drama Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is also getting mixed reviews from critics but being liked by most of the audience because of brilliant acting of Nawaz.

On the opening day, Kushan Nandy’s directorial recorded low occupancy due to Ganesh Chaturthi Puja and Punjab-Haryana riot. It raked the business of 2.05 crores on Friday, which is as per expectation.

On Saturday being weekend, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz witnessed decent growth and collected the business of 2.41 crores. After two days, total collection of the film has become 4.46 crores from around 1000 screens nationwide.

While the rest two Hindi offerings Yash Raj Films’ Qaidi Band and Eros International’s Sniff, are getting very low occupancy across the country. But being kids friendly, the latter one directed by Amol Gupte is running better than the former at box office.

On the opening day both the films collected 0.10 crore but on Saturday, Sniff showed considerable growth and added 0.15 crore to it’s account. While Qaidi Band remained almost flat and bagged only 0.12 crore on second day.
