2nd Day Collection of Jai Lava Kusa, Jr. NTR’s Telugu Film Remains Strong on Friday

Year’s one of the much awaited Telugu films, Jai Lava Kusa has been released at box office on Thursday and registered whopping opening worldwide. After a tremendous start, this action drama is heading strongly well due to positive reviews it is getting from critics as well as audience.

Directed by KS Ravindra, Jai Lava Kusa features superstar Jr. NTR, Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas in lead roles. All the actors have performed excellently and are being appreciated by everyone. It also marks the debut of very talented Hindi film actor Ronit Roy in Telugu cinema.

On the opening day, Jai Lava Kusa opened to a great note and did the business of 21.91 crores share i.e. 32.10 crores gross from approx. 1000 screens across Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. From Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and rest of India, it raked the business of 5.67 crores, 0.72 crore and 1.50 crore gross respectively.

At worldwide box office, Jr. NTR starrer registered the highest opening of his career ever with the outstanding business of 47.25 crores gross. This includes 4.76 crores of USA box office and 2.50 crores from rest parts of the world.

On the next day i.e. Friday, on a strong note Jai Lava Kusa grossed the business of 9.40 crores from Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. From Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and rest of India, it minted the amount of 2 crores, 0.50 crore and 0.20 crore gross respectively.

From overseas market too, it reported excellent performance and garnered the business of around 2.05 crores. With this, second day collection of Jai Lava Kusa has become 14.15 crores and raised it’s 2 days worldwide total to 61.40 crores gross.
