2nd Day Collection of Neerja & LoveShhuda, Witnesses Decent Growth!

Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja takes lead over box office

This week offerings, drama thriller Neerja and romantic drama LoveShhuda have taken a decent start at box office on opening day. Sonam Kapoor starrer Neerja is getting overwhelmed response due to its strong content and taking lead over all other contenders. The film has received very positive reviews from critics as well as cine goers after release and flying high on buzz due to strong word of mouth. The adjacent release Girish Kumar and Navneet Kaur Dhillon starrer LoveShhuda is also getting positive response but less audience as compare to Neerja.

Neerja has released with good pre-release hype among audience this Friday on 700 screens only across the country. On its opening it witnessed the overall occupancy on 40% and minted the amount of 4.70 crores. Whereas LoveShhuda witnessed only 15% of occupancy and raked the business of 0.64 crore at domestic box office.

On Saturday being weekend, both the films have showed decent growth in their business. Due to strong word of mouth, Neerja has taken an impressive jump and minted the amount of 7.60 crores as its second day collection. On the other hand LoveShhuda collected the amount of 0.73 crore. Neerja has taken good lead over LoveShhuda and likely to show impressive jump on Sunday being holiday.

Apart from these, two more films have been released this Friday- Ishq Forever and Direct Ishq, but not getting much response from audience.
