2nd Day Box Office Collection of The Nun, Paltan, Laila Majnu and Gali Guleiyan from India

Despite mixed reviews, the new Hollywood movie The Nun is running ahead of all the new Hindi offerings at the Indian box office. Being backed by the most popular horror franchise Conjuring, it opened on a solid note and remained strong on Saturday as well across the country.

Directed by Corin Hardy, The Nun has unfortunately received mixed reviews from the critics worldwide including India but still got succeed to divert the major Indian audience toward itself. Due to a huge fan following of the franchise, it took a very good start and registered the business of 8 crores nett plus 0.30 crore from the previews.

On the next day i.e. Saturday, it witnessed a fair growth and raked the business of 10.20 crores. After 2 days, the total collection of The Nun has become 18.50 crores nett from 1603 screens across India. As per the current trend, it seems to touch the mark of 30 crores by the end of this weekend.

On the other hand, JP Dutta’s Hindi war drama Paltan has unfortunately received mixed reviews from the critics and struggling to attract enough crowd toward itself. On Friday, it did the business of 1.28 crores. While on Saturday, it collected 1.73 crores and raised 2 days total to 3.01 crores.

Director Sajid Ali’s Laila Majnu has got failed to hit the target right and running low at the box office. It bagged the amount of 0.45 crore on Friday and 0.56 crore on Saturday. While Manoj Bajpayee’s Gali Guleiyan is just a filler, it collected 0.05 crore on Friday and 0.07 crore on Saturday.
