It released in India on 7th March 2014 with a warm welcome and good word of mouth. Sequel of 300 movies i.e. 300: Rise of an Empire released on nearly 3,500 screens worldwide. However, its production cost or budget of movie is about $100 Million. Thus, its makes 300 second a mega budget Hollywood movie with awesome response from audience. But film got huge benefit due to sequel factor, glowing reviews and shorter running time of 90 minutes which meant more shows. Film was boosted by poor show of all Bollywood releases like Queen, Gulaab Gang and Total Siyapaa and film is heading for solid weekend at box office. Film collected a highest figure of 15.2 Crores than its adjacent Bollywood releases in its first weekend and the 5th day earning of it in India is around 2.5 Crores as per the reports.
