3rd Day Box Office Collection: Pati Patni Aur Woh registers a Solid Weekend, Panipat Decent

Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh has successfully maintained a solid pace throughout the opening weekend. While Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon starrer Panipat has managed to register an overall decent weekend despite a dull start at the box office.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the Hindi romantic comedy Pati Patni Aur Woh has expectedly got succeed to entertain many in theatres and gathered a good word of mouth. From critics, it has received mostly positive reviews for its engaging & entertaining storyline backed by the commendable performances of all the actors.

On Friday, T-Series Films & BR Studios’ presentation was opened at an excellent note and did the business of 9.10 crores. On Saturday, it took a good jump and minted 12.33 crores. On the next day i.e. Sunday, the film has managed to collect 14.51 crores and raised 3 days total collection to 35.94 crores nett from 2850 screens nationwide.

In parallel, Ashutosh Gowariker’s Panipat has also got succeed to impress critics with its gripping storyline backed by the strong performances of leading actors. But the film hasn’t received the desired response from the audience and remained the second choice of viewers throughout the weekend.

Ashutosh Gowariker productions & Vision World Films’ presentation had started the journey at a dull note and scored only 4.12 crores on Friday. Over the weekend, it took a good jump and minted 5.78 crores on Saturday & 7.78 crores on Sunday. After 3 days, its total collection has become 17.68 crores from 2395 screens.
