3rd Day Collection of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Ayushmann-Bhumi Starrer Passes Weekend on a Good Note

Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is being liked by everyone and performed very well in the opening weekend despite having biggie Baadshaho in opposite. After an average start, this Friday released quirky romantic comedy showed superb growth over Saturday and Sunday due to positive word of mouth.

Directed by R.S. Prasanna, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan carries an adult subject of performance anxiety at bed, but still to a large extent it is enjoyable for family audience as well. This is the reason, the movie witnessed unexpected jump on the second day and completed the weekend on a good note.

Although from critics, the movie has received mixed reviews but got succeed to entertain audience. On the opening day, it recorded an average occupancy across India due to clash with Baadshaho and did the business of only 2.71 crores from 1400 screens across the country.

On the next day i.e. Saturday due to Eid holiday and positive word of mouth, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan took an impressive jump of around 105% than Friday and minted the amount of 5.56 crores. Then on Sunday as well, it showed more growth and raked the amount of 6.19 crores.

With this first weekend total collection of Ayushmann-Bhumi starrer has become 14.46 crores at domestic box office. As per reports, Anand L. Rai’s recent production venture seems to stay steady in weekdays like Bareilly Ki Barfi.
