‘Housefull 3’ Registers Highest Opening Weekend Collection of the Year so far!

This Friday released much awaited comedy movie Housefull 3 has passed its opening weekend test on an excellent note. It is the third installment of successful Indian franchise Housefull and that is the reason had much pre-release hype. The movie has not received complete positive reviews from critics but getting amazing response from audience across the globe.

Housefull 3 is a multi-starrer movie, but the main attraction is none other than all favorite superstar Akshay Kumar. He has given mind blowing performance in the movie and is being praised by everyone for that. As per critics, it is one of the best comic performances in his career so far.

Sajid-Farhad’s directorial this laughter riot has already registered second highest opening of the year so far after Shahrukh’s Fan. On its very first day, as expected it reported good occupancy on 3700 screens across the nation and minted the amount of 15.21 crores, which is Akshay’s second highest opening day collection also.

On the next day i.e. Saturday, being weekend and due to positive buzz, Housefull 3 witnessed decent growth in its business graph and raked the business of 16.30 crores. Interesting thing is, it is getting amazing response not only on single screens but in multi-screens too. In fact multiplexes are reporting well for evening shows.

On the last day of the weekend i.e. Sunday, being holiday it received impressively higher response and added the whopping amount of 21.80 crores to its account. After a weekend, total domestic collection of Housefull 3 has become 53.31 crores, which is the highest opening weekend collection of this year so far. Now let see, how it will perform in weekdays.
