44th Day Collection of Tiger Zinda Hai, Sequel to Ek Tha Tiger still Continues to Run

Sequel to 2012’s blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai is continuing to run at the box office even after the 6 weeks of release. Despite having Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s biggie Padmaavat in the opposite, this action thriller has some hold over the audience and keep increasing its business total with every single day.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Tiger Zinda Hai was released with solid star power and high recall value. As expected the movie has received terrific response across the country and registered the number of box office records to its account. Now it is one among the top 5 highest grossing Hindi movies.

Starring superstar Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, TZH is now running in its 7th week and showing a steady performance in the weekend. On 7th Friday, it did the business of 0.15 crore with a drop of 21% than the previous day. On the next day i.e. 7th Saturday, the movie took a jump and minted 0.21 crore.

With this, the total 44 days collection of Tiger Zinda Hai has become 338.55 crores at the domestic box office including 338.19 crores last 6 weeks, that included 206.04 crores of first, 85.51 crores of the second, 27.31 crores of third, 10.89 crores of fourth, 5.81 crores of fifth and 2.63 crores of the sixth week.

Now the Yash Raj Films’ presentation has come quite close to Aamir Khan’s PK (340.80 crores) but doesn’t seem able to surpass that with its current pace.
