4th Day Collection of Deadpool 2: Passes Monday on a Decent Note at the Indian Box Office

After a solid opening weekend, the sequel to the very successful 2016’s Deadpool has entered on weekdays at a decent note in India. Despite being ‘A’ certified, last week’s Raazi & ongoing Ramadan, Deadpool 2 has surpassed the lifetime total of its prequel within first 3-days of release at the Indian box office.

The new superhero offering from Marvel Studios, Deadpool 2 was released with an immense buzz among Indian audience and as expected it is getting an amazing response in metro cities. For its entertaining story-line and kickass actions, the movie has received mostly favorable reviews from the viewers and gained positive word of mouth.

Directed by David Leitch, Ryan Reynolds starrer opened on a terrific note and also witnessed a good jump post noon shows. On Friday, it did the business of 11.25 crores and become the fourth highest opener of the year so far in India. With this, it has also registered the third highest Hollywood opening of all time on Indian screens.

On Saturday, due to an ‘Adult’ certification, Deadpool 2 recorded a slight drop in footfalls and raked the business of 10.65 crores. Then on Sunday, with a decent jump, it minted the amount of 11.50 crores and raised the opening weekend total collection to 33.40 crores from 2000 screens across the country.

Now Fox Star India’s presentation has stepped-in on weekdays and still has a good hold over the audience despite Raazi‘s good run. On Monday, Deadpool 2 faced a drop of 58% than Friday and bagged the amount of 4.75 crores. With this, its 4 days total collection has become 38.15 crores at the Indian box office.
