4th Day Collection of Fukrey Returns, Surpasses the Lifetime Total of Fukrey in 4 Days

After a blockbuster opening weekend, much awaited comedy drama Fukrey Returns is showing complete hold over the audience in weekdays and surpassed the lifetime total of it’s prequel Fukrey (36.50 crores) in just 4 days of release. Due to positive word of mouth, the movie is enjoying good occupancy in theaters across the country.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner Excel Entertainment, Fukrey Returns is the sequel to 2013’s much applauded Fukrey. Because of good recall value, it was released with high craze among fans and as expected got succeed to entertain everyone.

On the opening day, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba’s directorial opened to a decent note and showed good growth over the evening and night shows across India specially north. With overall good pace, it registered the business of 8.10 crores, which is the best opening of the year among all comedy drama movies with controlled budget.

On the next day i.e. Saturday, due to favorable response and weekend, Fukrey Returns took remarkable growth and raked the business of 11.30 crores. Then on Sunday with further jump, it minted 12.80 crores more and raised it’s opening weekend total collection to 32.20 crores at domestic box office.

Now Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal and Manjot Singh starrer has been entered in weekdays and asusual started getting lower footfalls than before. On Monday, it faced the drop of around 37% than Friday and garnered the business of 5.10 crores. With this, total 4 days collection of Fukrey Returns has become 37.30 crores domestically.
