The fourth installment of popular Indian thriller franchise Hate Story, Hate Story 4 has opened on a decent note but got failed to take considerable growth over the weekend due to mixed reviews from the critics as well as the audience. As a result, it passed the first weekend on an average note.
Starring the bold and the beautiful Urvashi Rautela, Karan Wahi, Vivan Bhatena, and Ihana Dhillon, Hate Story 4 was expected to follow the path of previous movies of the franchise. But unfortunately, due to clutter and mixed reactions, it got stuck at an average level.
On the opening day, Vishal Pandya’s directorial recorded lesser occupancy than Hate Story 3 & Hate Story 2 across India and did the business of 3.76 crores. On Saturday, it took limited growth and bagged the amount of 4.19 crores.
Then on Sunday with slight more jump, the movie raked the business of 4.62 crores and raised its first weekend total collection to 12.57 crores at the domestic box office. Now it has entered on weekdays and as usual, started getting a lower response due to normal working days.
On Monday, Hate Story 4 witnessed a drop of 44.40% than Friday and collected the amount of 2.09 crores. With this, the total collection of the movie after 4 days, has become 14.66 crores. As per current trend, it is likely to score near about 18.50 crores by the end of this week.
