Super Singh and Bank Chor 4 Days Total Box Office Collection
The much awaited Punjabi offering of this week, Diljit Dosanjh starrer Super Singh has been passed the opening weekend on an excellent note, despite having several Hindi movies in opposite at box office. Fans and audience liked the movie and creating good buzz about it on social media, which is attracting more audience toward theaters.
Diljit Dosanjh is one of the most popular superstars in Punjabi Cinema, that is why Super Singh was released with huge excitement among Punjabi audience. Opposite to him, Sonam Bajwa is playing as a leading lady and this is her third movie with Diljit after Punjab 1984 and Sardaar Ji 2.
Super Singh started it’s journey with fifth highest opening of all time in Punjabi Cinema and registered the business of total 5.75 crores in the opening weekend, which included 1.80 crore of Friday, 2.05 crore of Saturday and 1.90 crore of Sunday from around 350 screens nationwide.
Now Anurag Singh’s directorial has entered in weekdays and due to normal working days, it started getting lesser footfalls. On Monday, Super Singh witnessed 39% of drop in compare to Friday but still managed to collect good amount of 1.10 crore and made it’s 4 days domestic total 6.85 crores.
On the other hand, Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Rhea Chakraborty starrer comic thriller Bank Chor got failed to attract audience toward theaters despite good promotion. On the opening day it reported dull opening and recorded total 4.36 crores in the first weekend with 1.40 crore on Friday, 1.66 crore on Saturday and 1.30 crore on Sunday from 700 screens.
On Monday, Bank Chor faced abrupt fall in it’s footfalls and minted the amount of 0.91 crore with 35% of drop than Friday. With this, total collection of the movie has become 5.27 crores after 4 days at domestic box office.
