After passing the opening weekend on a good note despite a slow start, 102 Not Out is heading steadily on weekdays. Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor starrer this slice-of-life comedy drama has got succeed to win everyone’s heart and gained strong word of mouth.
Due to the last week released Avengers Infinity War and ongoing IPL matches, Umesh Shukla’s directorial opened on a slow note but picked up very well over the weekend and scored 16.65 crores on board, that included 3.52 crores of Friday, 5.53 crores of Saturday and 7.60 crores of Sunday.
Now 102 Not Out is running on weekdays and minted the amount of 3.02 crores on Monday with a slight drop than Friday. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, it managed to collect 2.83 crores and raised its 5 days total collection to 22.50 crores at the domestic box office.
While the other Hindi offering of this week, Rajkummar Rao’s crime drama Omerta has received positive reviews but still remained low over the weekend with a business of 2.63 crores. Now on weekdays, as usual, Hansal Mehta’s directorial is getting low footfalls and collected the amount of 0.30 crore on Monday & 0.25 crore on Tuesday. After 5 days, its total collection has become 3.18 crores.
On the other hand, Allu Arjun and Anu Emmanuel starrer much-awaited Telugu movie Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India has received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience. It opened on an excellent note but got failed to maintain the pace over the weekend and collected 27.40 crores shares from the Telugu states, that included 16.25 crores of Friday, 5.25 crores of Saturday and 5.90 crores of Sunday.
Now Vakkantham Vamsi’s directorial NSNI is running on weekdays and as usual, getting lesser footfalls in theaters. With considerable drops than Friday, it collected the shares of 3 crores on Monday and 2.10 crores on Tuesday. With this, the total collection of Naa Peru Surya has become 32.50 crores shares (47.30 crores gross) from Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
