5th Day Collection of Article 15, Rakes Over 27.50 Crores in India by Tuesday!

The latest offering of Ayushmann Khurrana, Article 15 is running steadily on weekdays after a decent opening weekend. Despite the last week’s Kabir Singh and the ongoing cricket world cup matches, it is getting a good response from the audience in metro cities.

Directed by Anubhav Sinha, who had directed critically-acclaimed Mulk, the crime drama has got succeed to convince critics by its unusual plot & excellent performance of all the actors. But unexpectedly, the audience is not very much impressed and has a mixed opinion about it.

Article 15 was released on Friday amid positive expectations but had started its journey at a slow note. Over the weekend, it managed to show good growth and raked the business of 20.04 crores that included 5.02 crores on Friday, 7.25 crores on Saturday & 7.77 crores on Sunday.

Produced by Zee Studios & Benaras Media Works, the film is now running on weekdays and still has a decent hold over the audience. On Monday, it had recorded a drop of 20.92% vis-a-vis Friday and managed to collect the amount of 3.97 crores.

On the next day i.e. Tuesday, Article 15 witnessed some drop in footfalls due to India Vs Bangladesh cricket match and bagged the amount of 3.67 crores. After 5 days, its total collection has become 27.68 crores nett at the domestic box office from around 2000 screens.
