5th Day Collection of Baazaar, Saif Ali Khan starrer Earns 15 Crores Total by Tuesday

Being the major release of this week among numerous offerings, Baazaar is getting a considerable response at the box office. This business crime-drama is not running at a good pace though, but still scoring higher than the adjacently released Hindi movies. It could perform better but the last week’s Badhaai Ho is still the first choice of viewers.

Directed by Gauravv K. Chawla, Baazaar has received mixed reviews from the critics as well as the audience. Due to less awareness, the movie opened at a poor note but somehow managed to register an almost decent opening on Friday with 3.07 crores.

Then over the weekend, Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, Chitrangada Singh & debutant Rohan Mehra starrer showed a fair growth in footfalls across multiplexes and raked the business of 4.10 crores on Saturday & 4.76 crores on Sunday. After the weekend, its total collection was recorded at 11.93 crores nett.

Now Baazaar is running on weekdays and as usual, witnessed an abrupt drop in footfalls due to normal working days. On Monday, it faced a drop of 45.93% than Friday and minted the amount of 1.66 crores. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, with a further decline, the movie collected 1.61 crores.

With this, the total collection of Nikhil Advani’s presentation after 5 days, has become 15.20 crores nett at the domestic box office. It is likely to garner approx. 18 crores by the end of this week.
