5th Day Collection of DJ Duvvada Jagannadham, Allu Arjun Starrer Heading Towards 50 Crore Total in AP/T

Opposite to superstar Salman Khan’s Tubelight, Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun starrer much awaited Duvvada Jaganndham was also released this Friday at box office. As expected this action comedy received overwhelmed response from fans as well as Telugu audience.

Directed by Harish Shankar, Duvvada Jagannadham got positive reviews from critics and viewers as well, due to which it gained good word of mouth and remained strong throughout the weekend despite usual heavy drop in it’s footfalls from the second day.

Allu Arjun’s 25th movie Duvvada Jagannadham aka DJ started the journey with more than 75% of occupancy and registered his highest ever opening in Telugu states with 18.40 crores from around 1000 screens. While on the other hand, Salman’s highly awaited Tubelight raked 21.15 crores across the country.

In the opening weekend, Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde starrer did the excellent business of 35.35 crores from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, that included 18.40 crores of Friday, 8.05 crores of Saturday and 8.90 crores of Sunday.

After the phenomenal first weekend, Duvvada Jagannadham reported good performance on Monday due to Eid holiday and minted the amount of 6 crores. On the next day i.e. Tuesday being normal working day, it recorded more drop and collected 4.75 crores.

With this, total 5 days collection of the movie has become 46.10 crores at AP/T box office. Not only in Telugu states, but from entire south India and overseas, it is getting amazing response and has grossed near 90 crores worldwide.
