5th Day Collection of Firangi & Tera Intezaar, Both Films Fail to Stay Steady in Weekdays

Unlike Kapil Sharma’s first film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, the new one Firangi has got failed to impress critics as well as audience. Despite having no strong contender in opposite, it remained almost flat over the weekend after slow start. Also even after 5 days of release, it’s total collection stands lower than the opening business of 2015’s KKPK (10.15 crores).

The time doesn’t seem in favor of Kapil Sharma these days, first his popular TV show called off and now his film career has also got infected. Directed by Rajiev Dhingra, Firangi opened to a low note due to cold promotions and registered the business of only 2.10 crores from 1150 screens across the country.

Because of unfavorable word  of mouth, the film showed no growth on Saturday and did the business of 2 crores. Then on Sunday with little growth, Firangi raked the business of 2.50 crores and raised it’s opening weekend total collection to 6.60 crores.

Now it is running in weekdays and asusual getting lower footfalls than before. On Monday, Kapil Sharma starrer faced around 45% of drop than Friday and minted the amount of 1.15 crore. Then on Tuesday, Firangi dropped further and bagged the amount of 1 crore. With this, it’s 5 days total collection has become 8.75 crores at domestic box office.

On the other hand, Raajeev Walia’s directorial romantic drama Tera Intezaar has also got failed to entertain viewers and garnered the business of only 1.50 crore in the opening weekend, that included 0.50 crore of Friday, 0.45 crore of Saturday and 0.55 crore of Sunday.

Now in weekdays, asusual Sunny Leone & Arbaaz Khan starrer getting more lesser response at box office and minted the amount of 0.25 crore on Monday with 50% of drop than Friday. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, with similar response Tera Intezaar again collected 0.25 crore and raised it’s 5 days domestic total to 2 crores.
