5th Day Collection of Fukrey Returns, Excel Entertainment’s Film Continues it’s Winning Stride

The much awaited sequel to 2013’s Fukrey, Fukrey Returns has recovered all it’s investment within the opening weekend and heading with good hold over audience across the country. Like the prequel, the new one is also enjoying it’s dream run because of positive word of mouth.

Due to good recall value and promotions, Excel Entertainment’s production Fukrey Returns was released with much hype among fans and as expected opened to a fair note. By witnessing solid growth over evening & night shows, the movie registered the business of 8.10 crores on Friday.

From most of the audience as well as critics, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba’s directorial has received positive remarks and as a result, it took remarkable growth over the weekend. This comedy drama did the business of 11.30 crores on Saturday and 12.80 crores on Sunday, and raised it’s opening weekend total to 32.20 crores.

Now Fukrey Returns is running in weekdays and asusual getting lesser footfalls in theaters than before, but still heading very well at box office. On Monday, it minted the amount of 5.10 crores with around 37% of drop than Friday. Then on Tuesday, the movie remained steady and added the amount of 5.05 crores.

With this, total 5 days collection of Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal and Manjot Singh starrer, has become 42.35 crores. The year 2017 has been lucky for the sequels of comedy drama franchises. After Jolly LLB 2, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Judwaa 2 & Golmaal Again, now Fukrey Returns is the fifth one which got succeed to impress audience.
