5th Day Collection of Neerja, Sonam Kapoor starrer Remains Strong in Weekdays too!

‘Neerja’ holds well in weekdays

After showing outstanding performance in weekend, Sonam Kapoor starrer latest drama thriller film Neerja has successfully passed its Monday test. The true heoric story based this film has been released with good pre-release hype and received huge appreciation from audience because of its strong content and brilliant performance given by its starcast. All the critics have reviewed Neerja with very positive comments, which has generated strong word of mouth for it and made it to gross excellent business in the opening weekend after a decent start.

On its very first day, the film had witnessed the decent occupancy of 45% across the country and raked the business of 4.70 crores on limited 700 screens. Due to positive buzz, it showed impressive growth on Saturday and minted the amount of 7.60 crores as its second day collection. On the last day of weekend, being Sunday it has received higher response than last two days and collected the amount of 9.71 crores. Till the end of weekend, total collection of Neerja had recorded as 22.01 crores at domestic box office.

Now it has entered in weekdays and being normal working days, was expected to face heavy drop. But Neerja has remained strong in weekdays too and getting decent response at box office. On Monday it had raked the business of 3.70 crores as its 4th day collection. On Tuesday, it has started the day with almost similar response as previous day and its collection is estimated to be around 3.41 crores.

Along with this Ram Madhvani’s directorial, three more films have been released- LoveShhuda, Ishq Forever & Direct Ishq. Neerja is ruling over box office this week and has dominated rest all contenders.
