6th Day Box Office Collection of Mulk, Karwaan & Fanney Khan from Indian Screens

Two of the three new Hindi releases of this week, Mulk & Karwaan are getting a decent response from the audience on weekdays, while the third one with higher star power, Fanney Khan is slowing down. Due to weak story-line, Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan & Rajkummar Rao starrer got failed to impress the viewers.

Directed by Atul Manjrekar, Fanney Khan has received mixed reactions from the critics as well as the audience. In the opening weekend, it scored lesser than the other two films despite higher opening. It collected 7.75 crores in first 3-days that included 2.15 crores of Friday, 2.60 crores of Saturday, and 3 crores of Sunday.

Then on weekdays, as usual, this musical drama faced an abrupt drop in footfalls and minted the amount of 0.85 crore on Monday & 0.75 crore on Tuesday. On the next day i.e. Wednesday, with a further drop, Fanney Khan bagged the amount of 0.65 crore and raised its 6 days total collection to 10 crores.

On the other hand, Rishi Kapoor & Taapsee Pannu starrer an intense drama Mulk has impressed almost everyone with its solid content gained a positive word of mouth. In the opening weekend, it did the business of 8.16 crores with 1.68 crores on Friday, 2.81 crores on Saturday, and 3.67 crores on Sunday.

On weekdays, despite a fall, Abhinav Sinha’s directorial is continuing to score decently. On Monday, it raked the business of 1.20 crores, while on Tuesday, it witnessed slight growth and minted 1.25 crores. On Wednesday, Mulk managed to collect 1.10 crores and raised its 6 days total to 11.71 crores.

The third one, another drama film Irrfan Khan, Salman Dulquer & Mithila Palkar starrer Karwaan has also got succeed to hit the target right. With positive feedback, it registered the business of 8.10 crores in the opening weekend with 1.60 crores on Friday, 2.80 crores on Saturday and 3.70 crores on Sunday.

On Monday, it reported a considerable drop and minted the amount of 1.10 crores, while on Tuesday, it collected 1.20 crores with a slight rise. On the next day i.e. Wednesday, Akarsh Khurana’s directorial garnered the business of 1.10 crores. With this, its 6 days total collection has become 11.50 crores.
