6th Day Collection of Newton, Bhoomi and Haseena Parkar, Rajkummar Rao’s Film Earns 10.75 Crore

Last Friday released Hindi films Bhoomi, Haseena Parkar and Newton are about to complete their opening week. The first two that were released with decent buzz, are getting poor response at box office. While the third one has least buzz among all three, but heading smoothly nationwide.

One of the finest actors in Bollywood, Rajkummar Rao’s recent offering Newton has impressed everyone with it’s solid content and brilliant performances by the entire cast. Due to positive word of mouth, it did the business of 6.90 crores in the opening weekend that included 0.96 crore of Friday, 2.52 crores of Saturday and 3.42 crores of Sunday.

Despite having bigger films in opposite, Amit V. Masurkar’s directorial is heading steadily in weekdays and minted the amount of 1.31 crore on Monday and 1.34 crore on Tuesday. On the next day i.e. Wednesday with slight drop, Newton raked 1.18 crore and raised it’s 6 days domestic total to 10.73 crores from 430 screens.

On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt’s Bhoomi had good buzz among fans but due to mixed critics reviews, it got failed at box office. In the opening weekend, this revenge drama collected the amount of 7.48 crores, that included 2.25 crores of Friday, 2.47 crores of Saturday and 2.76 crores of Sunday.

In weekdays, asusual Omung Kumar’s directorial got considerable drop and added the amount of 0.85 crore on Monday, 0.80 crore on Tuesday and 0.65 crore on Wednesday. With this, total 6 days collection of Bhoomi has become 9.78 crores from 1900 screens at domestic box office.

While Shraddha Kapoor’s crime drama biopic Haseena Parkar was released with good expectations but it got failed to satisfy critics as well as audience. On a dull note, it did the business of 6.10 crores in the opening weekend, that included 1.87 crore of Friday, 2 crores of Saturday and 2.23 crores of Sunday.

In weekdays, asusual it got dropped and now struggling to attract audience toward theaters. Apoorva Lakhia’s directorial garnered the business of 0.60 crore on Monday, 0.55 crore on Tuesday and 0.40 crore on Wednesday. With this, total 6 days collection of Haseena Parkar has become 7.65 crores.
