Mandeep Kumar’s directorial latest offering from Punjabi Cinema, Ambarsariya has completed its one week journey at box office on an excellent note. The movie has been released with huge excitement of audience across the globe and has performed terrifically. It has received very positive reviews from critics, which generated strong buzz and made it year’s highest grosser Punjabi movie so far. As expected Diljit Dosanjh starrer this action drama movie has received overwhelmed response from audience in India as well as overseas.

Ambarsariya had taken an impressive start on box office and minted the amount of 6.20 crores from India in the opening weekend, that includes 2.10 crores of Friday, 2.05 crores of Saturday and 2.05 crores of Sunday. Not only from India but from overseas market too, it reported tremendous response and raked the total business of 5.34 crores till weekend. It has registered the record of second highest opening weekend grosser Punjabi film in overseas this year so far after Love Punjab.

In weekdays as usual it got lesser audience than weekend but still performed commendable. With slight drops, it did the business of 1.30 crore on Monday, 1.10 crore on Tuesday and 0.85 crore on Wednesday. On the last day of week, it received slightly lesser response and added 0.70 crore as its 7th day collection; made its 7 days total domestic collection as 10.15 crores. There is no latest release from Pollywood in this new week, so Ambarsariya is positively expected to show decent growth in it second weekend.
