7th Day: Captain America Civil War Total Collection in 1 Week from India

Marvel’s Captain America Civil War Crosses 40 Cr at Indian Box Office

One of the most favorite Marvel Studios’ superhero franchise Captain America‘s third installment ‘Captain America Civil War’ has completed its one week journey at box office with an impressive performance through out. The movie has been release last Friday with huge buzz among audience across India as well as globe. It has received tremendous response from the moviegoers and very positive reviews from critics, which has generated strong word of mouth about it.

This latest one has successfully dominated the opening record of previous superhero movie Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice on Indian box office and still has good hold over audience. In the opening weekend, Civil War did the excellent business of 27.13 cr from India, that includes 8.53 cr of Friday, 8.79 cr of Saturday and 9.81 cr of Sunday. Including distribution shares, it had reported the gross collection of 37.68 cr.

In weekdays, as expected it faced considerable drop but still witnessed commendable response. With gradual decline in its business graph, it minted the amount of 4.59 cr on Monday, 4.05 cr on Tuesday and 3.57 cr on Wednesday. On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, it received slightly lesser response and added the amount of 3.38 cr to its account from Indian screens. After a week, total collection of Captain America Civil War is recorded as 42.72 cr nationwide.

Now the movie has entered in its second week and expected to face little competition due to new Hindi movie Azhar which has good hype among Indian audience. But nothing can be said so confirmed, because audience response for this Emraan Hashmi starrer is still awaited.
