‘Azhar’ 7 Days Total Collections Report

Balaji Motion Pictures and Sony Pictures’ latest collaboration ‘Azhar‘ completes its first week journey at box office on a decent note. The movie has been released with good buzz among audience and received positive reviews from most of the critics. Unfortunately it has not reported any impressive performance so far but stands decent. Everyone praised the acting of the lead star Emraan Hashmi but still the movie has got failure to achieve desired place in the hearts of audience.

In the opening weekend, this Tony Dsouza’s directorial has witnessed decent response and minted the amount of 20.80 cr, that includes 6.30 cr of Friday, 7 cr of Saturday and 7.50 cr of Sunday. In weekdays as expected, Azhar faced continuous falls in its business graph and raked the business of 2.95 cr on Monday, 2.45 cr on Thursday and 2 cr on Wednesday. After 6 days, its total collection was recorded as 28.20 cr at domestic box office.

On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, Azhar started the day with slightly lesser response and collected the business of 1.50 cr as its 7th day collection. After a week, total collection of the movie is recorded as 29.70 cr on Indian screens. Another awaited biopic Sarbjit is being released from this Friday, so it won’t be easy for Azhar to maintain its decent pace in the second week too.

After the premiere shows, Sarbjit has started getting very positive reviews from critics as well as Bollywood celebrities. The picture will get clear after knowing the reactions of audience.
