7th Day Collection of Jagga Jasoos- Ranbir Kapoor Starrer Crosses 46 Crore Total in 1st Week

After showing progressive performance in the opening weekend, Ranbir Kapoor & Katrina Kaif’s latest offering Jagga Jasoos followed the regressive trend. Despite good star power, it got failed to keep hold over the audience in weekdays and now doesn’t seem to be on safe side any how.

Directed by Anurag Basu, Jagga Jasoos received mixed reviews from critics as well as viewers though, but still with the support of fans it recorded good business in the opening weekend at domestic box office.

This musical adventure started the journey with the eighth highest opening of the year so far in Hindi cinema and did the total business of 33.17 crores from 1800 Indian screens in the weekend, that included 8.57 crores of Friday, 11.53 crores of Saturday and 13.07 crores of Sunday.

Due to getting delayed several times earlier, Jagga Jasoos has an unnecessary hiked budget of 110 crores. That is why, it was needed to stay steady in weekday as well. But in actual the movie got crashed abruptly and lost it’s chance to recover the investment atleast.

On Monday, Ranbir-Katrina starrer witnessed 53% of drop than Friday and raked the business of 4.05 crores. Then with further drops, it minted 3.48 crores on Tuesday and 3.05 crores of Wednesday.

On Thursday, Jagga Jasoos faced more downfall and garnered the business of 2.54 crores. Wit this, it’s one week domestic total collection has become 46.29 crores nett. Now from the new week, Basu’s directorial will have Munna Michael in opposite, so circumstances won’t be easy for it.
