7th Day Collection of Mastizaade & Saala Khadoos, Completes 1 Week with Decent Earnings

‘Mastizaade’ & ‘Saala Khadoos’ One Week Total Collection

Last Friday released, Sunny Leone starrer ‘Mastizaade’ and R. Madhavan starrer ‘Saala Khadoos’. Both the films have received decent response at box office from audience across the country. Bollywood critics have reviewed the sports drama Saala Khadoos with positive comments whereas adult comedy Mastizaade received mixed reviews. Even though with higher number of screens, Sunny Leone starrer grossed higher amount business than Saala Khadoos at box office.

In the opening weekend, Mastizaade witnessed decent occupancy through out on Indian screens and minted the amount of 18.45 crores, that includes 5.59 crores of Friday, 6.11 crores of Saturday and 6.75 crores of Sunday. In weekdays, as expected it faced drop of more than 50% and raked 2.89 crores on Monday, 2.74 crores on Tuesday and 2.51 crores on Wednesday.

On the parallel side, Saala Khadoos also recorded decent business of total 9.93 crores in the weekend that includes 2.19 crores of Friday, 3.54 crores of Saturday and 4.20 crores of Sunday. Due to low screens, the film showed low performance in weekdays and done the business of only 0.95 crore* on Monday, 0.80 crore* on Tuesday and 0.55 crore* on Wednesday.

On the last of week, Mastizaade faced slight more drop than previous day and collected the amount of 2.15 crores as its 7th day collection and made its one week total to 28.74 crores. Saala Khadoos also faced drop in its business and minted 0.40 crore*, to make its total to 12.63 crores.

From this Friday, two new films Ghayal Once Again and Sanam Teri Kasam are also being released at box office, both are expected to hamper the performances of all existing films.
