7th Day Collection of Raabta and Behen Hogi Teri, Complete 1st Week on a Disappointing Note

Raabta and Behen Hogi Teri Opening Week Total Collection

Last Friday released the much awaited offering of Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon, Raabta unfortunately got failed to impress audience as well as critics. Despite full fledged promotions and good star power, it remained flat over the weekend and reported constant drops in weekdays.

Although Raabta has adorable chemistry of Sushant and Kriti, but still most of the critics found it disappointing due to it’s carelessly handled storyline. Because of unfavorable reviews, it lost the hype and got failed to take any jump in weekend.

In the opening weekend, it started on a decent note and registered eight highest opening of the year so far in Hindi cinema. Despite this, it remained almost flat throughout and did the business of 15.93 crores, that included 5.61 crores of Friday, 5.11 crores of Saturday and 5.21 crores of Sunday from 1820 screens nationwide.

Then in weekdays, Dinesh Vijan’s directorial recorded abrupt fall in it’s footfalls and minted the amount of 2.53 crores on Monday, 2.25 crores on Tuesday and 1.50 crore on Wednesday. On the last i.e. Thursday with further drop, Raabta minted 1.40 crore and made it’s 23.61 crores domestically.

On the other hands, Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan starrer romantic comedy Behen Hogi Teri got failed to attract audience toward itself and completed the opening week on a poor note. Despite little better reviews than Raabta, it minted total 1.29 crore in the opening weekend from 757 screens, that included 0.32 crore of Friday, 0.45 crore of Saturday and 0.52 crore of Sunday.

In weekdays, it dropped by more rate and managed to collect 0.16 crore on Monday, 0.15 crore on Tuesday and 0.13 crore on Wednesday. On the next day i.e. Thursday with more dip, Behen Hogi Teri garnered the amount of 0.11 crore and made it’s one week domestic total as 1.84 crore.
