7th Day: Housefull 3 Crosses 80 Cr Domestic Total in One Week

‘Housefull 3’ Emerges as 2nd Highest Opening Week Grosser of the Year

Last Friday released laughter riot Housefull 3 has completed its one week journey at box office on an impressive note. The movie has been released with huge buzz among audience and registered many records so far to its account. Unfortunately it has not received much positive reviews from critics but audience liked it and showed big thumbs up for it.

In the first weekend, it has registered the highest opening weekend collection record of the year so far with domestic total of 53.31 crores, that includes 15.21 crores of Friday, 16.30 crores of Saturday and 21.80 crores of Sunday. From overseas market, it reported the business of 26.77 crores and grossed over 100 crores worldwide including distribution shares at worldwide box office.

In weekdays too, Housefull 3 maintained a good pace and with gradual decrements, minted the amount of 8.25 crores on Monday, 7.07 crores on Tuesday and 6.25 crores on Wednesday. On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, it faced slight more drop and raked the business of 5.22 crores as its 7th day collection.

After a week, total collection of Housefull 3 is recorded as 80.10 crores across the country and with this it has become the second highest opening week grosser of the year after Airlift (83.50 crores). Also it has emerged as third highest grosser of the year so far after Airlift and Fan. The movie is positively expected to surpass lifetime collection of Fan by this new weekend.
