8th Day Box Office Collection: Chhichhore remains Strong on 2nd Friday!

After an excellent opening week, Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari’s latest offering Chhichhore has started the second week at a strong note despite having the new Hindi releases Dream Girl and Section 375 in the parallel along with the existing ones Saaho and Mission Mangal. This shows the power of good content which can be seen in its box office numbers.

Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, and Varun Sharma starrer Hindi comedy-drama has expectedly got succeed to entertain many in theatres and gathered a positive word of mouth. From critics also, it has received mostly positive reviews and as a result, had registered the 11th highest first week of the year so far in Hindi Cinema.

Chhichhore was opened at a fair note and had emerged as the second-best opener of Sushant Singh Rajput. Over the weekend, it showed healthy growth and did the business of 35.98 crores. Then on weekdays, it had maintained a super-strong pace and raked the business of 32.85 crores. After a week, the total collection of the film was recorded at 68.83 crores nett from around 2200 screens nationwide.

Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios’ presentation has entered in the second weekend and still has a very good hold over the audience. On 2nd Friday, the film has recorded a normal drop in footfalls and minted the amount of 5.34 crores nett. After 8 days, its total collection has become 74.17 crores nett at the domestic box office.

As per the current trend, Chhichhore is expected to show solid growth over this weekend despite a clutter at the box office and all set to join the 100-crore club by the end of this week.
