8th Day Collection of Jab Harry Met Sejal JHMS, Emerges as the Biggest Commercial Disaster of 2017

After a disappointing opening week, now Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal has been entered in it’s second week and has another biggie Toilet Ek Prem Katha in opposite. Unfortunate to JHMS, the new Hindi offering is getting positive reviews from most of the critics as well as audience, so conditions are going to be harder for it.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, Jab Harry Met Sejal was released last Friday with huge excitement of fans but apparently it even got failed to impress all the fans. This is why the movie remained below 60 crores after one week of release. Rather it was supposed to go past of this mark within the opening weekend.

SRK-Anushka starrer this romantic drama started the journey on a good-enough note but due to mixed reviews it didn’t witness any considerable jump over the weekend and did the business of 45.75 crores. This was included 15.25 crores of Friday, 15 crores of Saturday and 15.50 crores of Sunday from around 3200 screens across India.

Then in weekdays, Jab Harry Met Sejal got dropped by an abrupt rate and raked the business of only 14 crores including 7.15 crores of Monday (Raksha Bandhan), 2.90 crores of Tuesday, 2.20 crores of Wednesday and 1.75 crore of Thursday. After a week, total collection of the movie was recorded as 59.75 crores.

Now once again it is in the weekend, but has strong competitor Toilet Ek Prem Katha in opposite which is being liked by viewers. Due to which, JHMS faced around 57% of drop than previous day and minted the amount of 0.75 crore. With this, total 8 days collection of Jab Harry Met Sejal has become 60.50 crores at domestic box office.
