Being one of the most awaited film & hyped film Action Jackson went completely away from the mark maintained him during his previous blockbuster films. This film was released on 5 December 2014 and was on the great hypes before getting released on box office to break the current records set by other Bollywood biggies. The movie opened with almost 70% occupancy of the theaters and was expected to end the drought in theaters as there has been no big release after Happy New Year.

But film’s performance in the later days showed the real fact that it could not touch the level of Singham Returns or other big hits considering the business figures. Latest released movies like Lingaa and Exodus are affecting the business of Action Jackson a lot.

As we reported earlier it has seen huge drop at morning shows. Especially at single screens which was always supposed to do good business. With the new release at box office, Action Jackson lost shows numbers everywhere but that will make no full harm in coming days as word of mouth is going decent. The film especially in East Punjab have seen bigger drop with few other major places. The second Sunday collection has come in the range of 3.5 Crores* which still will not be bad collection but it’s not rock steady business also as seen continuous drop around or more than 20% on each day from Monday till now.

Now it is to be seen how much jump the film can register on Sunday. Right now it’s looking around to run at most one more week on box office.
