Airlift 14th Day Collection, Surpasses Holiday’s Total Domestic Collection

‘Airlift’ has minted 112+Cr in 14 Days of Release

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s two week ago released war thriller film Airlift has completed its 14 days journey at box office with tremendous performance through out. The film was released with huge excitement of audience and received super positive response from audience as well as critics. Everyone showed big thumb up to the the film and appreciated the brilliant work done by lead star Akshay and his co-star Nimrat Kaur in Airlift.

In its 2 weeks journey, Airlift has registered many records. It has become fourth film of actor Akshay Kumar to enter in 100 crore club. With its rock steady performance, it has almost surpassed the lifetime domestic collection record of Akshay’s very successful film of year 2014 Holiday and has become third highest grosser of his career after Rowdy Rathore and Housefull 2.

In the opening week, Airlift reported outstanding response of audience and raked the business of total 83.50 crores on Indian screens, that includes 44.30 crores of weekend and 39.20 crores of weekdays. As its second weekend business, it minted the amount of 19.26 crores that comprises 4.50 crores of Friday, 6.50 crores of Saturday and 8.26 crores of Sunday. Till its 10th day, the film grossed 35.23 crores from its overseas screens.

In weekdays, Airlift witnessed lower response as compare to weekend but still stands on top among all contenders. The film has collected total amount of 9.53 crores in last 4 days, that includes 2.53 crores of Monday, 2.61 crores of Tuesday, 2.40 crores of Wednesday and 1.99 crore of Thursday. Till the end of its 14th day, total 2 weeks collection of Airlift is recorded as 112.29 crores at domestic box office.

Now from this Friday, two more films are being released at box office, one is Sunny Deol starrer Ghayal Once Again and other is romantic drama Sanam Teri Kasam. Both the films are predicted to get decent response at box office after release.
