Airlift 15th Day Collection, Crosses 114 Cr in 15 Days at Indian Box Office

‘Airlift’ has Grossed 112.29 Cr in last 2 Weeks from India

Raja Krishna Menon’s directorial recently released war thriller ‘Airlift’ has completed its two weeks journey with an excellent business total. Superstar Akshay Kumar starrer has been released on 22nd January with huge excitement star fans and audience. The film has received very positive reviews from all critics as well as moviegoers. Due to strong word of mouth, it has showed steady performance through out.

In the opening week at domestic box office, Airlift showed tremendous performance and did the total business of 83.50 crores that includes 44.30 crores of weekend and 39.20 crores of weekdays. In the second week too, it continued with terrific pace and grossed total 28.79 crores, comprised with 19.26 crores of weekend and 9.53 crores of weekdays. Till the end of two weeks, total collection of Airlift was recorded as 112.29 crores.

Now the film has entered in the third week and getting lesser response than last two weeks. On its third Friday, Airlift has witnessed almost similar response and raked the amount of 2.03 crore as its 15th day collection. Due to new releases Ghayal Once Again and Sanam Teri Kasam, now Akshay starrer has started loosing hold over audience. But it has dominated the lifetime collection record of 2014’s film Holiday and become the third highest grosser of his career after Rowdy Rathore and Housefull 2.
